Somehow, turning 22 seems to be a bigger turning point for me as compared to turning 21. I still remember the feeling of exuberance and excitement when I was planning my 21st birthday party! And I couldn't wait to turn 21 because I was thrilled that I was going to be an adult and I would no longer have curfews. However, this year has been fraught with many life changing experiences. Taking on leadership roles and responsibilities in church, getting a job and the entire process of discerning and job seeking, getting my driving license, transiting from a student to a working adult and no longer having the freedom of a university student etc... It really hit me that I am going to be a fully fledged adult and this really scared me. I wonder whether I will be equipped adequately to deal with everything else that lies ahead.. haha.
Thanks to everyone who made my 22nd birthday a really memorable one for me :)
