I had a really long HTHT with my Wee cousin about relationships and we agreed that one thing that would cause disputes would be this big thing called understanding. I guess it's learning to give and take, understanding how the other person feels by placing yourself in his shoes and not being quick to judge and put him down. Of course, understanding why and how a person would react in a situation is a result of knowing that person really well so yea!! We both think that there is so much to a relationship and to make it work. Haha.
Anyway, I'm one step closer to achieving my aspirations. 4 more steps and I would be done!!
And since the new year has started, these are the things I'm thankful for:
My parents- for all their love and taking care of me, especially when it comes to feeding me for meals and driving me around.
My eldest sis- for doting on me and watching out for me.
My second sis and brother- for the times of fun and laughter.
Bonnie and Livia- lifelong besties, for always keeping me grounded.
Kaiwei- my kor who has really been there for me through it all.
Alex- for the past 3 years of love.
Marie- for lots of invaluable advice.
Brandon- for being a sponge when i need to tell secrets to someone.
Melodi- dearest cousin who always lends me a listening ear.
Sheryl- the wee cousin for her lovely company.
Wang Rong- for being someone I can ramble to.
Yawen and Jen Jong- Clubbing Queen and King, for watching out for me (since I'm younger than them)
SSSM- providing lots of fun and for travelling with me to Indonesia.
Cheryl- for being my big sis and really taking care of me.
Samantha- for always being my xiaomei.
Nikita- for your sweetness.
Dillon- for always supporting me silently.
Vivien, Xiao Ting and Dency- marathon buddies and for the girly times when we want to relieve our tai-tai dreams.
Kelvin- for your encouragement and support.
Jessica- for the sms chats and for your love and care for me :)
Thanks for being a part of my life and I hope that we continue to build more beautiful memories, as well as write more chapters in my life story :) love you all much!
