Sometimes, you think too much about things and that is why it weighs you down so much, you worry too much and you think about what should happen, what will happen, and then you go nuts over it. And it's not easy to pull yourself out of that but with lots of determination, you can do it!
I love nice chill out places, places in which you can have really good food, really nice music and just talk till late without worrying if you'll be chased out! dilly brought me to a place called "mango" on friday night and it's a good thing he drove cos it was so far away, a hidden gem in sembawang. haha. We had a really nice supper of house salad, garlic bread and soup, super crispy calamari rings, grilled salmon and topped off with a lovely brownie. And then it was on to some in depth heart to heart talk about relationships and life. And we both came to the conclusion while discussing one matter- it is weird for a 21 year old guy to date a 16 year old girl! My lips remain sealed from this point onwards.

Then there was a family dinner over the week to celebrate Dad's birthday, and I find it quite funny cos my parents were really pleased that I treated them to dinner and they were quite happy. It's funny how little things like that can make them so contented. Hmmmm. Too bad that we all can't eat as much as we were able to do so when we were younger! We had a lovely Jap buffet dinner at Curry Favour! Not a bad place though I wouldn't visit that place any time soon.

If you knew that you might get hurt in the end but you still want to go ahead and give it a shot so that you would have absolutely no regrets, would you still go ahead with something?
And what is love? What is commitment all about? Even if you get married and settle down, it doesn't mean that you have to remain commited to that person? Is it? It's pretty sad that most people think this way nowadays, which is why divorce rates are getting steeper.
And I really enjoyed my chats with my colleagues Damian and Pinaki on relationships. I'm an old-fashioned romantic at heart, and hearing their views about relationships, especially the practical part about it and how there really isn't a thing called "true love". hmmmm. it made me think even more. I like what Damian said about love- "Love is knowing that loving that person comes with all these problems and still choosing her/him."
And 2 more weeks till my girl comes back to me over the ocean.
