It's been a really long time since I last blogged..haa..
Anyway, this year's Vday was really quite good for me, it was a celebration of love and friendship and it made me realise how many close friends I had around me who genuinely cared for me and who are always there for me..here goes the thank you speech!

I was quite burned out after heading a rally in Feb..and I lost the passion for alot of things.. I didn’t want to study, I just felt so tired and drained and stressed out by everything and that affected someone who was very dear to me. But I am happy to say that I am in a much better shape and that this whole experience has really made me stronger =)
Letting go of certain responsibilites helped alot. And during this difficult period, something also happened as I found out something and it just threw me off my feet and really made me so confused and bothered. But I am glad that it happened cos it made me reflect and think about alot of things.
Being away from certain things and people also gave me the time that I needed to just be by myself, and I learned to be more self-dependent. I was definitely more relaxed, and I took my time to do things too. I could just breathe!! This time also helped me to be stronger and it was really a learning point for me.
And it made me realize that in life, no matter what happens,I'll just have to move on. And it was quite ok trying to get over stuff! Cos I was never alone throughout the whole week and I had friends all around me to support me and encourage me and just be there for me. Im really thankful for them and vowed never to take them for granted too.
Oh I’ve decided that I’ll study as hard as I need to, and that what must be done, I’ll get them done but you won’t see me pia-ing as hard as I used to in the past..no point la..I’ll rather relax and enjoy life..And it’s ok if I don’t get all the As that I used to want to get, cos at the end of the day, I am still going to get a degree and honours..wow that’s definitely a dream man..with all the competition around cos of the plague, it’s definitely going to be really hard to get honours but I’ll just do my best and not worry so much.
I've also learned not to take things for granted and to be thankful for all the countless blessings that have been showered on me. And I vow not to be so self-absorbed and to be less demanding and unreasonable and more sensitive and considerate towards others. And also to be more care-free and care more about the stuff that matters most.
Someone said I was much nicer and that it was weird and that it needed some getting used to! hmmmm... I am striving towards continuous perfection ma.
