Well, another update from me. Haha Shawn, hope you’re happy!! Since you said that I took so long to update!
Met up with some friends last week, and it was really good.
Went out with Yangz on Weds and it was really funny cos we walked a lot! We went to Coffee Bean at Millenia Walk and we were pretty toot cos we din noe that there was one at Suntec. Then off to Waraku where I met Kok Hong and he was really hospitable to us. Then off to watch Simpsons at GV. It was really brilliantly funny and lame. Then off for dinner at Carls’ Jr for me and then off to Imperial Treasure at Marina Sq. It was a really good 8 hours spent with you, dear Yangz. It has really been a long time since we last met up. Haha. Next outing- buffet ok!!
We had an og gathering and the turn out was fanatastic! All the freshmen in Ondeh turned up and this was the 1st gathering tat I attended whereby everyone turned up. We went to Ten Dollar KTV at Chinatown and it was super fun!! There was free flow of drinks and we sang to our hearts’ content for 5 full hours. Whee. And it was quite obvious who was karaoke king and queen. Elaine had an amazing sweet voice, Weili could sing, Shawn and Li Koon knew how to sing so many songs and Qiu Rong and Papa Seng could sing pretty well too! Haha k-ing is really fun and I wanna go back again!!
And then on Sat we had a Caritas lunch before LISS and everyone turned up except Kris cos he was working. I have become really fond of my group people cos we journeyed together throughout the 5 weeks plus of LISS and we really shared a lot. And it’s really good that we are able to click with each other. Haha poor Joshua is always suan by me, Clare and Isabella. He earned the nickname of Ah Pek cos he’s just so like that! Haha. But he’s really a gentleman. He helped me to carry Alex’s birthday presents around which were so heavy! Thanks! Haha.I’ll really miss LISS, cos I was really transformed, and I’ll miss the people too. They are all so warm and genuine and it’s really easy to talk to any of them.
I think I was pretty anti social at Alex’s birthday party, and it reflected pretty badly on me la. Will not want to comment further on it. But yea, it was not as fun as I thought it would be cos I could not drink though I would have loved to do so. Brother Damian kept suaning me la, it was so funny.
And now, moving on to the more serious stuff. I still can’t believe that I am in uni. It seemed like just yesterday that I was in primary school. And it’s so fast!! I am now at the last stage in my education- university. I am really quite excited cos it’s something that is so new to me, and I just can’t wait for school to start. Only thing is, I am not too impressed by the people in my faculty that I have seen at the Dean’s welcome tea. Was pretty disappointed, that’s all I can say. Thank goodness for people like Sarah! We’ll just be ourselves and be different! Glad to have someone who thinks like me lor.
And lastly, I am disappointed at the lack of trust that my parents have in me. I borrowed a lighter from a friend and wanted to return to him, so I threw it on my bed to remind my self to put it in my bag, then I went out. When I got home, the lighter was placed on the dining table with a note that said, “Michelle Wee, are you smoking?” Like WHAT THE!!!!!!!!! I have my principles and I know what I should do and what I should not do, and I am obviously not a wild child. I was really mad and hurt that my parents would just jump to conclusions so easily and think that I would be into such vices. It was really maddening. And yes, my parents don’t have that much trust in me, why? I have absolutely no idea…. I tell my parents who I go out with, what I do. And I have a freaking curfew which I stick to most of the time. And yet… My besties say that it’s because of my older sisters that has me implicated. Which is so unfair. Perhaps I should have stayed in hall. All I can say is that I am looking forward to turning 21. No binding to curfews etc. Freedom!!!!!
