Well. Another quick update.
Been pretty busy at work, really looking forward to the weekends.
TGIF! Going for drinks with Alex and Sean today! It's flaming lamborghini time!
Anyway, regarding my uni decision, I have to say that I was geared towards NTU math and econs. I really thought through and I was going to accept NTU's offer, but at the very last minute, I accepted NUS in the end. People were shocked beacuse they all thought that I was going to NTU. And yea, I myself was prepared to study at NTU. But oh well. Things change.
In life, we can't always get what we want and things won't always go our way. And the things that we want to do, we may not get the chance to do them because we have to be forward-looking and not just think about the present. Because whatever decision we make now will eventually affect our future, and we have to be pragmatic and think of our self interests. And with regards to studies, what we are interested in may not be what we can excel at and may not be able to mould our career paths.
Like how NUS Math is more established and even the school's name sounds so much better.
The impact of my decision has already been felt. Like in church, some people were asking me which uni I got accepted into and which one I chose in the end. When i said NUS, they nodded their heads in approval and said I made the right choice. Well, I hope so!
I don't know if I have made the right decision, but I have made my decision and Im just going to make the best out of it.
