Well, it's been a long time since I last updated by blog. Oops. Had alot of things to do la.
Thanks to Duriz, Steph and Regina for the lovely Farewell dinner at Sushi Tei. :D
It was nice talking to you all and hearing your opinions on alot of things.

A nice girls' night out :D

Me and Steph, people say that we can pass off as sisters. It's a compliment! And Steph treats me like a younger sis. :D

Cheers to health, luck and wealth! And to friendships, family and love.
Yesterday was my last day at work, and it was definitely nostagic.
1. I spoke to my SP on the night before my 1st day at work. And on the night of my last day at work, I also talked to him. So the whole SP/ bestie thing is just so sweet.
2. I was thinking that oh, this would be the last time that I would be going to the mailroom, going to 20th floor, taking the office lift, tapping my access card, having chats with my colleagues etc.
3. And I am going to to miss the fun lunches that I had, especially with Roy, Ellen, Duriz, Steph, Stella and Shawn. And the food too! Especially the Ban Mian near Courts and the ice-cream auntie.
4. And most of all, the people who made my working stint at UOB a very memorable one.
Indeed, I realised that I was exposed to a working environment where there were so many things that I had to learn on my own. And I helped the team with many adhoc items and campaigns, and this definitely helped me to think on my feet. And of course, through my interactions with customers who come from all walks of life, I learned how to deal with people more effectively and also build up on my confidence and social skills. And my IT skills, ie Excel and Word have also improved. LOL. I'll miss working at UOB but I really need a break for me to just chill out before going back to school to study. So I am enjoying this freedom that I have right now. :D
I had a good weekend. Sat was a nice family dinner. And Sun was a good time for me to catch up with my friends. Went to Marina Bay MRT to meet Kel, Marcus and Yushu. And surprise surprise, that guy was actually early! Cos normally he'll be late. There was one time that he made me and Kel wait 2 hours for him lor. And we ended up taking a shuttle bus to this steamboat place at Boon Keng, which was a little ULU cos it was like we were in the middle of nowhere, we can only see factories all around us. Anyway, the good thing about being the only girl with 3 guys is that you won't get your hands dirty. We were given free crabs and prawns and we had to wash them. So the 3 guys bravely washed the crabs while they were still alive and they did a good job! But Kel was kinda NOOB. he washed a crab and it dropped into the sink, which was full of stinky water. And then we had alot of fun cooking food. Funny thing is that we all thought that we could eat alot but we ended up not eating much cos by the time we cooked the food(which took ages to cook), we were very sian diao by then. Haha but between the 4 of us, I think we must have finished 16 eggs or so, Marcus was happily cooking eggs for us and he even managed to fry ommelettes for us to! He can make a good house husband. Haha.
Then we went off to Marina Square to play Daytona and bowling. which Yushu won in the end and Marcus was sneakily changing his score so that it won't look like he can't bowl that well! And the guys' names on the display screen were names of girls they liked. But for me, I don't have anyone so it was just my own name on the screen. Haha! Definitely had a great time with the guys, looking forward to the next time we meet up. :D
