TITLE: update!!
Ok..Im finally updating my blog after goodness knows how long.. LOL..
Im pretty tired today but I had a good day at work..In fact I was actually enjoying myself and the time seemed to pass much faster compared to my 1st day at work. I got to do more stuff today..like take drink orders and present bills to customers..it was pretty fun interacting with people. My boss, Suki is really nice. She showed me the ropes and was very patient with me, when I made mistakes. Yup. And the people at the Jap restaurant where I work at are pretty nice. So its not too bad. But Im so tired now. Haa.
Today I attended my bestie, Livia’s ah ma’s funeral and cremation. Im pretty glad that I went cos it made me appreciate life even more and just made me reflect more on life. Her ah ma was pretty impressive. She left behind a legacy of 83 people in her immediate family!! And that is not counting her extended family. And she died peacefully at the age of 93. so yea. U can say that she lived life to the fullest. She made an impact on everyone’s lives and everyone will always remember her. So what is death? I guess it is just another phase of life. Except its not physical, u noe? Like life on earth is 1 phrase and then life in heaven( I hope I’ll get there) is just another phase. Cos we need to interact with other people in order to grow to be a better person and then we are good enough to experience God’s grace in heaven. So I really hope that I can live my life to the fullest and be remembered dearly by everyone who knows me when I die. And I wanna die a peaceful and painless death. No car crash, plane crash etc. I have a low threshold for pain. And I wanna look serene and divine when Im dead. Yup.
Church camp. 1/12-3/12. Im pretty glad that I went for Arise youth camp. Thanks marcus, for all the trouble u took to pass me the form and for being so persistent in persuading me to go for the camp. Met many people in SPP for the 1st time. And I love my group!! Group Y rocks!! Without Y, there will be no UNITY. only a UNIT> Haha lame right?? Martin chu stunt de. Helen, Ivy, Mariana, Neil, Brother Joseph, Martin and me were in the group. Pretty fun bunch of people.Haha and its fun being the group IC cos I can bully ppl like Martin. Haha met so many nice people.. And din noe that people like Brother Jopseph and Brother Sebastian can be so cheeky and have tricks up their sleeves. And camp food was actually pretty good!! One of the best camp food ever. This camp opened my eyes to many things and I really enjoyed myself. Especially during Praise and Worship. It was so good. Gosh. REally loved the singing and all that. This camp also made me want to serve God even more so I have a stronger desire to serve God now. But its a little hard cos Im working now?? So my schedule is kinda fixed and church stuff is not told to me in advance. So its kinda hard la. Yup.
And then we also played this really fun game called secret pal, something like angel and mortal. And I got a super nice and cute SP!! Haha its so funny. I've known him for about a year le. But it was only after this camp that I got to know him better. And we can click!! We can yak and yak for ages. Yesterday I had dinner with him and we yakked for 5 hours straight. Which is why my voice is kinda husky rite now. A little gone la. Haha.Haha nice knowing you, SP. :D
And Grad night on Sun. 3/12. Could not recognize many people cos they were all dressed up. Haha and sad thing is that I looked pretty tired in all my photos cos of camp lag la. Thanks to uncle for coming up to see me. Our photo together was the best Grad night shot. Im gonna miss my class alot. And Council. Especially Ideas.And funny people like Ken, Stanley, Chingwei etc. And Shub and Sam etc..YOu girls and guys colored my life at Nj and I'll always cherish our friendships. Hope we'll stay in touch, ya?? Friends are so important. GOsh. Grad nite photos will be up soon. And Mr Low!! Wa LAo. PAng seh la. Never turn up 4 grad nite!! Haha so few trs came. OH well. I got lucky ad won 4th prize in the lucky draw!! Which is $200 MPH vouchers!! HAha quite a nerdy prize but its pretty good. So no complaints. Haha. Im gonna miss NJ so much. Will crash orientation next year. HAHA!
Feeling happy and blessed. Cos I can feel God's love for me through the people all around me. Who show care and concern for me when I least expect it.
